Open to all GDCC players, officials, supporters and volunteers, chuck on your favourite Hawaiian shirt, grass skirt or coconut bikini and join us at the Orchard on December 17th for some jule tide joy!Partners, family and friends are all welcome and we look forward to seeing you there! What's better for a clubman than sitting atop the Club Championship? We are extremely grateful to have the Orchard back on board this year and are also excited to be running the inaugural Gordon Social League. With a combined total of over 00 worth of prizes up for grabs it is definitely a great year to be a social legend. As you see below there are loads of planned events - with more details coming to hand shortly. It is important that all club members make an effort to support these events. Most importantly, the Gordon District Cricket Club Social League is here! Our first offering is a voucher for players on the team with the most points at the start of Round 6. We also recently had our 2016/17 Gordon District Cricket Club World series of Poker.A huge thank you to Peter Percival from the National Poker League for doing us a very special deal on his service, to Anand Verma for organising the night and to Scott O'Brien for overseeing the night.
Big thanks to Tym Crawford, Nick Prell and Cris De Krester for helping set the night up.
Another 2 rounds have passed since our last update and the Stags see themselves on top of the table in 1st grade, undefeated in almost every grade, and on top of the club championship!
There have been some excellent and consistent performances on the pitch, but who is exhibiting excellence and consistency off the pitch?
Refreshments will be on sale in the castle shop, and visitors can bring a picnic if they wish.
Haddo House is an elegant mansion house with stunning late Victorian interiors.
I say this because while it is hard to scratch together 4 bowlers for a net at training, the Orchard, Crowie and grassy surrounds of our PGs fixtures are overflowing with Stags.
